Our client is seeking a newly qualified Associate (0-2 years PQE) to join their Financial Services Law team in Guernsey. The successful candidate will provide legal advice across corporate and commercial law, investment funds, banking, and regulatory matters. This role involves supporting partners and senior associates, managing transactions, and contributing to business development initiatives. Job Duties: Manage and coordinate transactions from instruction to conclusion. Provide high-quality legal support to partners on client matters. Conduct legal research and analysis. Review and summarise legal documents. Maintain time recording, billing, and collections in line with policy. Ensure compliance with CDD and AML procedures. Update the Client Relationship Management system. Assist in business development and marketing initiatives. Contribute to the firm's knowledge base through seminars, articles, and presentations. Support new ventures and identify cross-selling opportunities. Job Requirements: UK or Guernsey-recognised legal qualification preferred. 0-2 years PQE in banking, corporate/commercial, or regulatory work. Strong drafting and legal research skills. Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A client-focused approach with strong commercial awareness. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
