Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Business Services Executive to support their Marine Services division. This permanent, full-time role (30 hours per week) reports to the Head of Business Services and involves providing day-to-day support in entity administration, compliance, banking relationships, and other key operational tasks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient business operations while liaising with clients, employees, and external bodies such as international authorities, banks, and pension providers. Job Duties: Conduct research and due diligence as required. Support the compliance team in implementing and monitoring solutions to meet regulatory requirements. Attend client board meetings, taking and preparing minutes. Maintain corporate statutory records and coordinate the filing of returns. Assist with company secretarial services. Provide business, regulatory, and compliance advice in collaboration with the team. Support a variety of administration tasks as needed. Manage client interactions and liaise with external bodies such as banks and pension providers. Maintain electronic filing systems. Oversee the bank account opening process and maintain banking relationships. Administer client bank accounts and process payments in line with statutory and contractual deadlines. Ensure adherence to high customer service standards and bespoke service level agreements. Assist with ad hoc projects as required. Job Requirements: Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong organisational skills. Strong numeracy skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work methodically, accurately, and efficiently under pressure. Proactive with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the right to live and work in Guernsey.
