Our client is seeking a Network Operations Administrator to support asset operations and provide administrative assistance to the technical and LPG operations teams. This is a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract based in Guernsey. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising key operational tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and improving efficiency within the department. Job Duties: Provide administrative support to the network department, including processing purchase orders and invoices. Maintain and update key operational spreadsheets, including plant output data, ship planning, and stock sheets. Scan and organise documentation, including daily round sheets, call-out sheets, and visitor logs. Liaise with suppliers and customers to facilitate smooth operations. Prepare preliminary end-of-month statistics and maintain accurate records. Assist with catering arrangements for meetings and visitors. Manage phone calls and messages professionally. Update road closure information and ensure Glass Wall data is current. Raise and complete job records, ensuring systems are updated with accurate information. Support personal welfare administration, including holidays, sickness, and rota management. Ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies. Identify opportunities for performance and process improvements. Stay informed about technical innovations relevant to operational and administrative activities. Job Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database systems. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent administration and organisational abilities. Strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, integrity, and confidence. High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks. Ability to adhere to data protection policies. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues. Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation. Experience working within a continuous improvement culture. Customer service experience in a utilities or similar industry.
