Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Tax team in either Guernsey or Jersey. This role focuses on providing UK and Channel Islands tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. The successful candidate will support tax compliance processes, ensure filing deadlines are met, and provide guidance to junior team members. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. Job Duties: Provide UK and Channel Islands tax compliance services to corporate clients. Ensure all tax filing deadlines are met in accordance with regulatory requirements. Analyse financial data and prepare tax returns. Support and monitor junior staff in tax compliance activities. Assist with drafting tax advice and client communications. Participate in marketing and industry events to enhance client engagement. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations. Identify and manage tax risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Job Requirements: ICAEW, ACCA, or other relevant tax qualification. Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in tax compliance or advisory roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent risk awareness and strategic thinking capabilities. Proficiency in IT systems and financial reporting tools. Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated, proactive, and methodical approach to work. Strong influencing and teamwork skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
