Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer to join their team on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will ideally have at least five years of trust administration experience, though strong candidates with less experience will also be considered. This is a key role managing a busy client portfolio, providing high-quality trust administration services, and supporting junior team members. The position offers flexibility, with a minimum of 28 hours per week considered, but full-time is preferred due to the demands of the role. Hybrid working is available, with two days from home and three days in the office once training is complete. Job Duties: Manage a portfolio of trusts and companies, ensuring all administration is handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations. Liaise with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality trust services. Oversee trust transactions, distributions, and statutory filings. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their development. Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Assist with risk management and compliance processes in line with company policies. Ensure all documentation and records are accurately maintained. Job Requirements: Solid knowledge of trust administration, with ideally five years of experience (strong candidates with less experience will be considered). Strong understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff is advantageous.
