Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Mortgage Executive to join their Operations team. This role will allow you to develop a career in financial services, with on-the-job training and support from experienced colleagues. You will play a key role in assisting with the completion of mortgage loans and gaining valuable experience in various aspects of mortgage transactions. This is an ideal role for someone looking to start a career in the mortgage industry. Job Duties: Learn and gain hands-on experience in managing mortgage transactions, including additional advances, renewals, and repayments. Assist with due diligence processes, reviewing borrower and property information, and identifying key risks while ensuring compliance with lending policies. Support the receipt and processing of mortgage loan applications from the front office. Help with renewal and repayment processes in collaboration with client services. Shadow and assist in instructing solicitors, valuers, and other external professionals acting on behalf of the Fund. Review legal and financial documentation, compile summaries, and learn to submit findings to the Credit Committee. Support the coordination of mortgage loan completions and assist in recovery efforts where required. Receive ongoing mentoring from experienced team members to develop the skills needed to progress into an independent Mortgage Executive role. Job Requirements: Strong attention to detail and diligent work ethic. Clear thinker with good communication skills. Ability to thrive in a busy working environment. Eagerness to learn and develop in a professional financial services setting. A positive attitude and a genuine interest in operations and lending. Previous experience in financial services or lending is not required but will be considered a plus.
