Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a proactive and results-focused New Business Executive to join their New Business Department. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role will be responsible for driving mortgage sales by developing relationships with introducers such as mortgage brokers, solicitors, and property developers. The role includes handling mortgage applications, presenting them to the Credit Committee, and issuing offers to applicants and their agents. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow within the organisation while contributing to its strategic goals. Job Duties: Drive mortgage sales by building and maintaining relationships with introducers. Handle mortgage applications, presenting them to the Credit Committee for consideration. Issue mortgage offers to applicants and their agents. Develop a strong understanding of the lending market and stay informed on trends. Manage sales processes effectively to meet targets and deadlines. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth case progression and outcomes. Contribute to achieving growth in enquiry volume and conversion rates from introducers. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure high levels of service delivery. Job Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships and demonstrate empathy. Eagerness to learn and develop both personally and professionally. Commercially aware, with a results-driven approach. Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear purpose. Skilled negotiator, with the ability to close deals effectively and build consensus. Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Analytical thinker, capable of evaluating complex situations and offering well-considered solutions. A strong interest in the lending market, with a willingness to learn more about residential mortgage-backed loans. Experience or awareness of sales techniques, prospecting, and lead generation would be beneficial.
