Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a temporary, part-time Accounts Payable Administrator to support their Finance team during a particularly busy period. This fixed-term contract will run for 9-12 months, with flexible working hours of approximately 15 hours per week. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Finance Manager and take responsibility for the full accounts payable workflow, including invoice processing, payment arrangements, and month-end expense journals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with Sage Intacct is desirable, though training can be provided. Job Duties: Process incoming invoices, ensuring accurate recording and approval Arrange invoice approvals and post approved invoices Manage supplier payments via online banking and issue remittance advices Set up and approve new supplier accounts Monitor the payables inbox and manage supplier queries Process credit card transactions, obtain supporting documents, and input expenses into Sage Intacct Prepare quarterly reconciliations of the creditor control account to the general ledger Support the Senior Finance Manager with month-end expense journals Act as the key contact for supplier-related queries Perform other ad hoc duties as required by management Job Requirements: Ability to meet month-end deadlines reliably Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage Intacct (training can be provided) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders Proactive, self-motivated, and methodical approach to work Organised and professional manner Qualified by experience or studying towards a professional qualification such as CAT or equivalent What You’ll Love:Our client offers a dynamic and professional environment where you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team during a crucial period.
