Our client, a privately owned and independent trust company, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the management of a team of administrators in the delivery of bespoke fiduciary services. Reporting to a Trust Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day trust and company administration while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, manage client relationships, and contribute to the enhancement of internal processes. Job Duties: Assist with the management of a team of administrators, supporting the team manager with day-to-day operations Oversee the administration of a designated portfolio of trust and company structures Delegate tasks effectively, providing guidance and training to team members as required Ensure the team meets utilisation and performance targets while maintaining regulatory compliance Handle and resolve complex operational and managerial issues with support from senior management Maintain strong client and intermediary relationships, ensuring a high standard of service delivery Monitor debtors, ensuring timely collections and reporting to senior management as necessary Facilitate training and development of administration staff within the team Contribute to internal process improvements and assist in the provision of management reporting Support the team manager and directors in their absence and attend management meetings as required Job Requirements: A minimum of five years' experience in trust and company administration A relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA (preferred) Strong knowledge of trust and company structures, financial transactions, and regulatory requirements Proven track record of delivering high-quality client service Experience in managing client relationships and meeting billing and collection targets Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Ability to lead, execute tasks efficiently, and manage others effectively Previous management experience is desirable but not essential What You’ll Love:Our client offers a dynamic and professional environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
