Our client is seeking a People Business Partner to join their Guernsey office on a part-time basis. This role requires approximately 30 hours per week, including Mondays, Tuesdays, and Friday afternoons. It is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing HR Officer or HR Adviser looking to take the next step in their career, with full training and support provided. The successful candidate must have strong commercial experience and be ready to develop their HR expertise further. Job Duties: Provide HR support and guidance across the business, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. Assist with recruitment processes, including interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and employment legislation. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and business performance. Analyse HR data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Manage employee queries effectively, ensuring prompt and professional resolution. Job Requirements: Experience in an HR Officer or HR Adviser role, with the ambition to step into a business partner position. Strong commercial awareness and ability to align HR strategies with business objectives. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
