Our client is seeking a Risk Analyst to support the Risk Manager in managing Prudential Risks across the business. This role will involve providing subject matter expertise, support, challenge, advice, and guidance in the management of risk. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing analytical validation to ensure the business operates within its Risk Policies, frameworks, and risk appetites. Job Duties: Provide analytical support in the development of risk strategies and supporting plans Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal risk policies, including credit risk, operational risk, and other frameworks Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to monitor the delivery of risk-related plans Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging risks, particularly in relation to credit, operational, and other risk areas Confirm that the business operates within its Lending Policy and Risk Appetite through analytical validation Provide confirmation that operational risks are managed in line with the Operational Risk Policy, Framework, and Risk Appetite Validate that other risk policies are followed and risk appetites are adhered to Support the preparation of analysis and papers for the Credit Sub Committee, Executive Committee, Board, and Retail Credit Committee Work with the Finance Department on the annual ICAAP and Reverse Stress Testing preparation Ensure the provision of accurate and timely analysis that meets both organisational and stakeholder requirements Identify and communicate developing risk trends to key decision makers Contribute to the production of regular Board Credit Reports covering mortgage performance, arrears, and other relevant credit/market issues Adhere to CPD (Continued Professional Development) requirements Support the adherence to core values and behaviours expected within the organisation Perform other duties as necessary as directed by management Job Requirements: Proven track record of achieving results, including progress towards obtaining a relevant professional qualification Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the business Commitment to organisational values and working behaviours Strong analytical and numerical skills Ability to analyse and interpret business information, summarise findings, identify recommendations, and produce management reports Competence in building MI (Management Information), including dashboards Proficient in Excel and MS-Office Experience in undertaking analytical tasks What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​Our client is committed to providing personal service and offers competitive benefits, including some of the best interest rates in the industry.
