Our client is seeking a Rostering and Crewing Officer to join their Operations team. This full-time role, predominantly Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, requires flexibility to work weekends and outside standard hours when the business requires. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all the firm's crew rosters on time and managing live crew rosters outside a 72-hour window, ensuring compliance with flight time limitations and company policies. Job Duties: Deliver on-time and robust crew rosters to all crew, ensuring compliance with scheme and company flight time limitation rules. Publish rosters within agreed timescales, considering FRM principles. Ensure the most robust crewing solution by ensuring equitable distribution of flying, duty, and day off allocations. Maintain monthly roster metrics for internal sharing. Administer all leave and crew preferences before roster issuance. Reschedule all crew training on the live roster. Ensure flight coverage for all crew ranks prior to the handover of roster management to the Operations Control (-72 hours). Ensure rosters comply with legal legislation and company policies, maintaining records of compliance. Collaborate effectively with Operations and flight operations teams. Demonstrate flexibility in response to changing business needs. Maintain a good working relationship with the crew and all relevant departments. Job Requirements: Proven organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and ensure agreed timescales are met. Good understanding of PC software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Ability to manage challenges efficiently and promptly. Self-motivated with a professional demeanour. Ability to take on additional responsibilities. Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility in working hours to meet business requirements. Competence in implementing and adapting to change. Calm and understanding demeanour in high-pressure environments. Experience in the operations, crewing, and crew scheduling environment. Proficiency in rostering-based software. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative in ensuring the efficient operation of the crewing department. Knowledge of fatigue risk management principles.
