Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to join their venture capital-focused Fund Administration team in Guernsey. This role involves managing the day-to-day administration of a diverse portfolio of clients, including venture capital funds and associated vehicles. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, third parties, and internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Job Duties: Administer a portfolio of clients, including venture capital funds, management companies, and associated fund vehicles, liaising with clients and third parties to ensure smooth operations. Process all aspects of fund administration, including investment transactions, payments, receipt packs, and investor changes. Maintain accurate investor and fund records within relevant systems. Support company secretarial functions, including the preparation of minutes, board packs, and regulatory reports. Assist with regulatory and statutory filings to ensure compliance with local and international requirements. Provide guidance and support to trainee staff during their induction and training. Handle ad-hoc client requests and participate in project work as required by the team. Job Requirements: At least one year of relevant experience in fund administration or a similar financial services role. Studying towards a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA) or equivalent. Basic understanding and ability to interpret fund documentation. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients. Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure. Solid computer literacy and effective problem-solving skills.
