Back to ResultsOur client seeks an Associate with up to 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Corporate team. The successful candidate will provide legal advice across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including general corporate, banking, regulatory, funds, and M&A work. This role requires a proactive approach, strong legal expertise, and a commitment to client service and business development. Job Duties: Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, banking, funds, and regulatory work, to both international and local clients. Assist senior fee earners on complex legal matters while taking ownership of an autonomous caseload under supervision as required. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery of high-quality advice. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Corporate department’s precedent database and procedures. Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments, undertaking research and attending CPD events. Job Requirements: Qualified to practise in the UK or a similar Commonwealth jurisdiction. Newly qualified or up to 3 years’ PQE in a corporate department, with experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters. Some knowledge of commercial property law is advantageous but not essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear, concise advice on complex matters. Excellent drafting, organisational, and time management skills. Proactive and able to manage a varied caseload efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building client relationships.
