Our client is seeking a Head of Sales and Relationship Management to lead and develop their Securities Services sales and relationship team across the Channel Islands. This role is pivotal to driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across traditional and alternative business lines. Key responsibilities include equipping the team with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to succeed while maintaining compliance with local governance and global reporting standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining sales strategies, steering the sales pipeline, and protecting key client relationships. Job Duties: Define and monitor local sales targets, including upselling and new business development. Collaborate with regional and global sales teams on transformative deals where the Channel Islands is a booking location. Oversee client strategies to align with business objectives and maximise profitability. Support the team in fostering inclusive client dialogue, promoting cross-selling opportunities, and driving the one-bank approach. Ensure consistent deal management processes across local and global locations. Drive local sales campaigns and execute targeted strategies to maximise profitability. Support client retention and mitigate revenue losses while enhancing profitability. Provide leadership and coaching to the sales team, ensuring the development of skills and competencies. Maintain strong market relationships and conduct competitor analyses. Adhere to compliance, financial security, and risk management policies, including KYC and AML procedures. Job Requirements: At least five years of experience in the securities services industry. A minimum of five years in a client development or sales role. Strong industry knowledge, particularly in investment operations. Proven ability in sales planning, competitive analysis, and client management. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership capabilities with a results-driven mindset. Experience managing multi-jurisdictional deal teams. Experience with Private Capital, TDS, Global Custodian, and Fund Administration products. Proficiency in financial planning and strategy. Additional language skills are advantageous.
