Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance, risk management, and policy development. This role involves acting as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO), and Compliance Officer (CO). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control framework, monitoring regulatory compliance, and managing a small team of compliance professionals. Job Duties: Manage compliance and regulatory risk, ensuring an up-to-date framework is in place. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate compliance risks. Act as MLRO, MLCO, and CO, overseeing adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CFT) regulations. Conduct risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and internal investigations. Provide reports to the board on compliance matters, regulatory developments, and risk mitigation strategies. Review new legislation and conduct gap analyses to ensure regulatory compliance. Respond to regulatory inquiries, audits, and thematic reviews. Oversee FATCA, CRS, and other international reporting obligations. Ensure staff training and awareness on compliance and AML matters. Manage and mentor a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and performance oversight. Job Requirements: Significant experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within financial services. Strong knowledge of AML, CFT, and financial regulations. Proven experience in risk assessment, policy development, and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify compliance vulnerabilities. Excellent communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement. Experience in supervising and mentoring compliance teams. Proficiency in regulatory reporting systems and compliance monitoring tools. A relevant compliance or AML qualification is desirable.
