Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to provide a professional sales and support service to customers purchasing mobile and residential products. This full-time role consists of 37.5 hours per week between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with one day off in the week. Additional hours may be required during peak trading periods. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional customer service, support product sales, and contribute to achieving team sales targets. Job Duties: Arrive punctually for daily staff briefings before the store opens. Deliver an efficient and professional sales service, ensuring customers receive honest and clear product information. Greet customers warmly and strive for customer excellence in every interaction. Ensure customers leave with their needs met or with a clear understanding of their service activation process. Demonstrate and sell the company’s mobile and residential services portfolio. Use computerised sales systems efficiently following training. Provide ongoing support to customers via face-to-face interactions, email, and telephone, resolving queries and complaints within one working day. Assist in training new retail team members and participate in training sessions as required. Work towards achieving personal and team sales targets. Process all orders accurately and in line with company targets. Maintain compliance with data protection, regulatory, and security policies. Undertake security awareness training and report any information security incidents. Work additional hours as required during the Christmas trading period (November 1st to December 31st). Job Requirements: Passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous sales experience with an appreciation of customer service principles. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to handle challenging customer interactions professionally. Enthusiasm for new technology and a willingness to learn. Accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good personal presentation and a professional attitude. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and modern retail technology is desirable. Interest in mobile technology and future developments is advantageous.
