Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a skilled Document Automation Engineer with experience in complex automation projects and a structured, methodical approach. This full-time, permanent role is based in Guernsey, Jersey, and London. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices in document automation and the ability to support colleagues with patience and confidence, ensuring business needs are met while adhering to document automation processes. They should be able to quickly familiarise themselves with existing automated templates, applying updates efficiently and accurately. Highly organised, the successful candidate will manage administrative tasks with diligence and proactively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency. The role requires adaptability to shifting priorities, strong teamwork skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to work independently when needed. Experience in onboarding and supporting other template developers would be advantageous. Job Duties: Collaborate with subject matter experts on document automation projects. Address document automation support requests. Manage administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the document automation service. Work with other teams, such as IT, to develop document automation solutions. Build and maintain strong professional relationships to deliver a high-quality service. Assist in creating and maintaining a document automation knowledge base. Support system upgrades when required. Maintain test scripts and requirement documentation. Conduct analysis and impact assessments before implementing changes to live templates. Stay updated on developments in the document automation field. Job Requirements: Proven expertise in document automation processes. Experience managing complex automation projects with a structured and methodical approach. Comprehensive understanding of best practices in document automation. Ability to provide patient and confident support while adhering to defined processes. Proficiency in reviewing and updating automated templates efficiently and accurately. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks. Proactive problem-solving and the ability to suggest improvements. Flexibility to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels, and work independently when needed. Experience in supporting the onboarding and training of template developers.
