Our client is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the effective and compliant management of a portfolio of prime commercial properties. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, this role involves managing third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and occupiers. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality service while supporting the overall property management function. Job Duties: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and occupiers, addressing queries professionally. Managing third-party suppliers to ensure service delivery meets contractual and compliance standards. Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring compliance using internal systems and risk assessments. Preparing, monitoring, and reconciling service charge budgets, approving invoices, and managing expenditures. Overseeing supplier performance, ensuring service level agreements are met and reviewed regularly. Assisting with the preparation of quarterly property management reports for landlords. Developing expertise in property management systems, including Tramps, Meridian, and service charge schedules. Procuring goods and services in line with company policies. Ensuring health and safety and emergency procedures are in place and adhered to. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless property and facilities management. Job Requirements: Experience or qualifications in facilities management, property management, or a related field (IWFM certifications advantageous). Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities. Strong IT proficiency and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive and energetic approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Five years of residency in Guernsey. Full driving licence.
