Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive temporary Corporate Client Services Officer to support their Guernsey-based team. This role involves delivering excellent client service to Financial Intermediary clients, handling banking and custody transactions, and identifying process improvements while maintaining strong operational controls. Job Duties: Provide day-to-day support to Financial Intermediary clients, ensuring a high level of service. Prepare and approve custody instructions, including equities, bonds, and mutual funds/unit trusts. Maintain Financial Intermediary Online Users and assist clients with online banking services. Process and approve manual, fax, and online payments, as well as foreign exchange transactions. Monitor and manage fixed deposit transactions. Support business developers with client engagement and entertainment activities. Conduct service reviews, monitor output, identify trends, and provide feedback to business heads. Handle telephone and email queries from clients, ensuring prompt resolution. Communicate with clients via email, mail, and telephone. Open additional sub-accounts for existing clients and update client records, including correspondence addresses and authorised signatory lists. Assist with ad hoc tasks and regulatory-driven projects as required. Analyse deposit flow trends and highlight insights to business development teams. Continuously seek ways to enhance client service delivery. Job Requirements: Experience in client service within financial services, demonstrating strong organisational skills and a proactive approach. Knowledge of custody services, banking, and payment systems. Familiarity with the Financial Intermediaries market in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, and Geneva. Understanding of account opening, CDD, and risk review/assessment processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement. Ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately. Planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Confidence in influencing and gaining buy-in from leadership and colleagues.
