Our client is seeking a Business Controls Senior Manager to join their Global Operations team within Governance Services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Business Controls to develop and maintain a global framework of policies, procedures, and processes. This role will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions while supporting teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to operate effectively. Job Duties: Review, update, and develop policies and procedures across multiple jurisdictions Conduct independent research and collaborate with management teams to ensure compliance Manage the approval process for policies and procedures, including committee oversight Support and lead projects related to regulatory changes, client opportunities, and service line development Analyse and map new legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance culture is upheld Provide training to teams on policies, procedures, and the controls framework Maintain and improve templates, checklists, and processes, integrating technology solutions where appropriate Assist in risk identification and assessment, ensuring an effective framework is in place Collaborate with Business Services teams to maintain a joined-up approach to compliance Implement workflow and process improvements to drive operational efficiency Keep up to date with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry developments Job Requirements: Educated to degree level or equivalent; a legal qualification or a relevant governance, compliance, or accounting qualification is preferred Experience in a relevant role within a regulated business or legal background with experience advising corporate service providers Strong technical knowledge of drafting policies and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities Client-focused with high ethical standards and a proactive approach to risk management Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Interest in technology and willingness to explore new systems What You’ll Love:Our client is a leading professional services firm known for its inclusive culture and commitment to excellence.
