Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary / Account Manager to support corporate governance and administrative processes. The role involves assisting with board and committee meetings, maintaining corporate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and liaising with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will contribute to process enhancements and corporate governance best practices while also managing client accounts and related responsibilities. Job Duties: Assist with the administration of corporate governance matters, including board and committee meeting preparations Maintain corporate regulatory, statutory, and commercial registrations Ensure compliance with corporate regulatory and insurance requirements Manage corporate records, agreements, banking relationships, and signatory lists Provide confidential company secretarial and general administrative support Maintain central filing systems for key corporate documents Assist in filing company secretarial and corporate returns across relevant jurisdictions Oversee the timely payment of corporate fees and regulatory filings Support the maintenance of corporate governance standards and regulatory compliance Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the GFSC and other relevant authorities Contribute to the development and review of operational processes and procedures Support risk management, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements Assist with ad hoc projects and corporate secretarial tasks as required Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and support Act as the main point of contact for client queries and account management matters Oversee the administration of client accounts, including financial transactions and reporting Identify opportunities for process improvements and client service enhancements Job Requirements: Ideally two or more years’ experience in a company secretarial role within the finance industry Knowledge of Guernsey’s legislative and regulatory requirements Experience with insurance or Protected Cell Companies is desirable Strong technical and professional experience in corporate administration and account management Previous experience in boardroom and regulatory engagement Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels Experience with Board Intelligence, Diligent, Guernsey Company Registry, and GFSC online portals Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship management skills What You’ll Love: Our client offers a dynamic and professional environment where you will play a key role in supporting corporate governance, administration, and client account management.
