Our client is seeking an Executive Director to lead their Private Wealth division, ensuring the effective governance, management, and strategic direction of the business. As a Board member, the successful candidate will oversee client relationships, business development, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires extensive fiduciary experience and strong leadership capabilities to drive growth, maintain corporate governance, and enhance the company’s market reputation. Job Duties: Serve as a Board member and ‘A’ signatory, overseeing the governance and strategic direction of the business. Manage a portfolio of complex trusts, companies, and other entities, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Lead and develop the Private Wealth administration team to achieve business objectives. Drive business development by identifying opportunities, meeting clients and intermediaries, and promoting the company’s services. Participate in industry forums, networking events, and deliver thought leadership initiatives. Ensure compliance with risk management policies, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements. Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, liquidity monitoring, and reporting. Lead recruitment, performance management, and professional development of senior team members. Act as an ambassador for the company, enhancing its reputation and presence in the market. Job Requirements: Minimum of 10 years’ relevant fiduciary experience at a senior level, including previous Board experience. Professional qualification and eligibility to be registered as a Principal Person with the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. Strong technical knowledge of trusts, companies, pensions, and fiduciary structures. Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and business development initiatives. In-depth knowledge of Guernsey’s legal, regulatory, and anti-money laundering frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Strategic mindset with strong financial and risk management acumen. Ability to mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
