Our client is seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to manage, maintain, and enhance critical business applications, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement. This role involves optimising business systems, developing data reporting capabilities, and identifying technology-driven solutions to support informed decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and IT teams to implement system updates, manage projects, and drive innovation. Job Duties: Oversee and maintain business applications, ensuring reliability and efficiency. Configure, test, and implement system updates, working closely with suppliers. Develop and deliver data reporting and analytics to support business decision-making. Document and analyse business processes, identifying risks and inefficiencies. Research and recommend new technology solutions that enhance business operations. Lead and manage system-related projects, ensuring smooth implementation. Provide technical support for business applications and act as an escalation point. Ensure systems are secure, up to date, and compliant with GDPR and security best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technology-driven solutions. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers and customers. Support IT Operations with end-user assistance and occasional out-of-hours incidents. Job Requirements: Strong technical background with experience in business systems and software configuration. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and data analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload, and work independently. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience in project management, business analysis, and change management. Experience managing or mentoring team members. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Relevant professional qualifications are desirable. A basic Police Clearance Certificate is required.
