Our client is seeking a Manager, Operations & Business Support to enhance operational efficiency and risk management across the organisation. This role ensures that robust processes, procedures, and reporting systems are in place to monitor, assess, and mitigate client operational and AML/CFT risk. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and industry best practices. Job Duties: Review, draft, and implement policies and procedures, providing training where necessary. Monitor and review policies, procedures, and guidance notes on a triennial basis to ensure they remain fit for purpose. Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes impacting fiduciary business operations. Identify and respond to risk situations, implementing internal controls to mitigate exposure. Analyse reports and facilitate the flow of risk-related information. Assist with risk reporting through KPIs. Manage the outsourcing process for the Channel Islands. Promote a strong corporate governance culture, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Act as a member of relevant committees and support the organisation’s strategic direction. Provide leadership by fostering a culture of continuous development, progression, and professionalism. Mentor and support junior colleagues, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Attend industry seminars, workshops, and training sessions to maintain professional knowledge and regulatory compliance. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role. A relevant professional qualification. Strong understanding of operational and risk management in the Private Wealth/Corporate Services sector. Knowledge of regulatory risks, including data security and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to write technical reports and present findings effectively. Proven ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
