Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to play a key role in the administration of trust and company structures for private clients. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will work closely with Trust Managers and Directors, handling complex matters with minimal supervision while building strong relationships with clients and intermediaries. Job Duties: Administer trust, company, and private client relationships in line with trust deeds, company articles, and service agreements. Manage financial transactions, including distributions to beneficiaries, with accuracy and attention to detail. Draft trust and company minutes, correspondence, and client documentation. Maintain and update client due diligence and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. Complete annual trust and company reviews and prepare annual validations. Liaise with settlors, beneficiaries, investment managers, bankers, and legal professionals. Assist with company secretarial duties, including share transfers and director/secretary updates. Support Directors and Managers with projects, meeting preparations, and ad hoc assignments. Maintain knowledge of company secretarial, compliance, and anti-money laundering regulations. Job Requirements: Qualified, part-qualified, or willing to undertake a professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, ACCA, or ACA, or possess extensive trust and company administration experience. Proven experience in a trust administration role. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle a busy workload. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems, including electronic filing and database management.
