Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to provide high-quality service to a multi-billion dollar book of fiduciary clients within the Institutional Fiduciary Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of company and trust structures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional client service. The role involves balancing fiduciary risk management with client expectations, preparing financial documentation, and collaborating with internal partners and advisors. Job Duties: Manage a mixed portfolio of company and trust structures, engaging with internal partners, advisors, and managers to provide excellent client service. Balance client expectations with fiduciary risk management and due diligence. Prepare and execute minutes, resolutions, and necessary documentation and payments. Review financial statements as part of fiduciary responsibilities. Serve as a point of contact for clients in relation to fiduciary entities on their portfolios, attending client and advisor meetings. Act as an authorised signatory for required documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for client structures. Document all decision-making processes and ensure client records and filings are accurate and comply with relevant regulations. Work proactively within the fiduciary team and with internal partners to identify areas for improvement. Liaise with other fiduciary teams to maintain consistency of service across the organization. Serve as a point of contact for service-related issues. Job Requirements: Continuous development of fiduciary best practices and knowledge. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and changes for Guernsey and other relevant jurisdictions. Highly professional approach to work, especially regarding client confidentiality and privacy of information. ICSA or STEP qualification or equivalent experience (or a desire to work towards obtaining this qualification). Strong written and verbal communication skills, numeracy, and computer skills. Positive, self-motivated, and proactive attitude. Excellent time management skills.
