Our client is looking for an IT Senior Service Desk Administrator to provide both administration and technical support within the IT department. This role will involve business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and supporting change project activities, including occasional support for the Facilities department. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to end users on hardware, software, and systems, ensuring seamless IT services and enabling employees to work effectively. Job Duties: Provide on-site and remote support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and network applications Manage and prioritise support tickets effectively, ensuring all requests are logged and tracked via the Service Desk application Diagnose technical problems and implement timely solutions Offer high-quality customer service and ensure timely resolution of issues Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, and network applications, including printers Provide IT technical support for industry-standard hardware and software throughout their lifecycle Process Identity and Access Management requests and manage Active Directory accounts for starters and leavers Perform routine inspections and upkeep of existing installations Follow internal standards (ITSM, ISO27001, GDPR, and Change Management) Maintain IT administration and documentation, including Asset Registers and Application Procedures Design user interfaces and collaborate with customers to test applications, ensuring software and system quality Job Requirements: GCSE English & Mathematics (or equivalent) Level 3 IT & Computing (or equivalent) Professional IT qualifications (e.g., ITIL4, SFIA) Ideally, three years of technical IT experience Knowledge of Microsoft OS, MS Office, Enterprise, SCCM, endpoint security systems Familiarity with Citrix, O365, Azure, Mitel, Active Directory, and Service Desk Ticketing Platforms Exposure to IT processes and standards What You’ll Love:This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of IT support and contribute to the smooth running of the business through effective service delivery and technical problem-solving.
