Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to provide parental leave cover for a period of 12 months within their Private Clients team in Guernsey. This temporary position involves overseeing a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering a high standard of service. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience while working in a collaborative and professional environment. Job Duties: Administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements. Liaise with beneficiaries, investment advisers, bankers, auditors, property advisers, agents, and lawyers on client matters. Oversee invoicing, debt management, and financial reporting in coordination with the Accounts team. Maintain up-to-date client files, ensuring minutes and meeting notes are accurately drafted. Support the team lead by supervising and mentoring junior team members, delegating tasks effectively. Ensure all compliance review points are addressed, including FATCA, CRS, and audit-related action points. Stay informed on legislative changes and industry trends, sharing relevant insights with the team. Act as a B signatory for bank signing schedules up to £50,000. Participate in process improvements and contribute to team projects as required. Job Requirements: Significant experience in a regulated finance or professional services environment. Strong organisational skills with supervisory experience. Solid understanding of trust and company administration, including relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. Holding or working towards a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA. Strong technical IT skills and the ability to drive personal development.
