Our client is seeking a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team on a full-time basis. This opportunity is based within the administration function, where you will support a team of Financial Planners while developing the knowledge and experience necessary to progress into a qualified advisory role. Over a structured four-year career pathway, you will work towards Chartered Financial Planner status, beginning with the Diploma in Financial Planning. The role offers a blend of hands-on experience, client exposure, administrative support, and professional study. Job Duties: Undertake a structured training programme to become a Chartered Financial Planner, starting with a two-year Diploma in Financial Planning through the Personal Finance Society. Shadow Financial Planners in client meetings, contributing to meeting preparation and follow-up tasks. Assist Financial Planners and senior administrators with a range of administrative duties to ensure efficient business operations. Provide occasional cover for the administration team when required. Support marketing campaigns, including updating the company website and social media channels. Work alongside the Head of Financial Planning on business development and marketing activities. Job Requirements: GCSEs in Maths and English. A Levels or equivalent qualification; a university degree is desirable but not essential. An interest in personal finance concepts; any experience in financial services would be advantageous but is not required. Friendly and personable with strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy. A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment.
