Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an experienced Administration Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for the daily administration of two business entities and requires an individual with a strong background in commercial finance and office administration. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks accurately and to deadlines. Job Duties: Create blanket sales orders using Business Central (BC) and CRM systems Generate sales invoices from delivery schedules and issue credit memos as required Review sales ledger weekly, ensuring customer payments are correctly matched and debts are followed up Prepare and send customer statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness Process purchase invoices, obtain necessary authorisation, and input data into BC Review purchase ledger weekly, match payments to invoices, and prepare payment runs Upload payments to internet banking and ensure accurate ledger entries Post daily cash receipts and payments; reconcile bank statements monthly Maintain petty cash records and ensure accurate monthly reconciliation Coordinate with suppliers and Group staff to resolve administrative and accounting queries Raise month-end warehouse invoices and assist with surcharge invoicing Prepare and collate expense reclaims from receipts or statements Assist with finance-related projects as required Answer incoming calls, manage post, and ensure timely dispatch of sales invoices Coordinate courier services, manage stationery supplies, and maintain filing systems Oversee office cleanliness, liaising with cleaners and handling minor maintenance issues Act as a named contact for building fire alarm systems and support travel/accommodation arrangements Job Requirements: AAT or similar accounting qualification Minimum of five years' experience in a commercial finance and administration role Sound knowledge of accounting systems and core finance functions including banking, sales ledger, and purchase ledger Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams Ability to multitask and prioritise a wide range of responsibilities effectively Proactive approach to resolving administrative issues and improving processes Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with staff and third parties across various sites What You’ll Love:This role offers the opportunity to join a highly organised finance team supporting two active business entities.
