Our client is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to join their team in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man. This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and delivering cutting-edge cloud and modern workplace solutions, primarily using Microsoft technologies. The role will involve close collaboration with the sales and professional services teams to drive cloud transformation for clients, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the business. Job Duties: Design and implement Microsoft-based cloud and software solutions to meet client transformation goals Provide consultancy on customer workloads and migrations to cloud platforms Own and drive the Modern Workplace and Managed IT sales targets through solution design and support Deliver client-facing pre-sales and post-sales technical support Support the implementation of infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Teams, Teams Telephony and Azure Manage client cloud journeys from architecture through to full migration Provide third-level support and mentor junior engineers Maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and technology partners Collaborate on the development of new services, solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to professional documentation, reporting and stakeholder communication Ensure regulatory and data protection compliance in all activities Participate in on-call rota if required Job Requirements: Professional-level qualifications in Microsoft, AWS or VMware Cloud disciplines 4–6 years' experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Prior experience in a senior consultant, pre-sales or architecture role Solid understanding of IT infrastructure including storage, virtualisation, operating systems, and security Experience with server and application migrations to cloud environments Familiarity with DNS, Active Directory, OneDrive and M365 integrated infrastructure Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Knowledge of ITIL, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS frameworks is advantageous A Basic Police Disclosure is required for this role What You’ll Love:Our client provides a collaborative, innovative and technology-driven environment where professionals are encouraged to develop and excel.
