Our client is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will support the Finance Business Analyst in sourcing, extracting, manipulating, analysing, and reporting data from various systems to enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Job Duties: Source, extract, and clean data from D365 and other internal systems Conduct basic analysis and create reports summarising key insights for internal teams and clients Design and set up databases to store and facilitate interrogation and extraction of data Manipulate and interrogate data using Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools such as Power BI Collate data to produce management and Board-level reports, dashboards, and KPIs with recommendations Identify data gaps and recommend tools and solutions to address them Perform market research into comparable suppliers and products to assess market share and competitiveness Source key data and metrics to assist forecasting and budgeting based on historical data Ensure data quality and integrity across all reporting Collaborate with the IT team to enhance data infrastructure and platforms Support ongoing improvements to data processes and reporting mechanisms Job Requirements: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) Familiarity with SQL or willingness to learn Understanding of data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders Minimum of 2 years' experience in a data analytics role within a commercial environment Strong academic background Investigative and diagnostic mindset with a passion for data excellence Strong analytical approach with excellent communication skills Commercial mindset, seeking opportunities to optimise business performance Task-focused with strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines Good organisational and planning abilities What You’ll Love:Our client offers a dynamic and supportive working environment where innovation, collaboration, and professional development are actively encouraged.
