Our client is seeking a Relationship Manager to oversee and grow their private banking function. This full-time role, with flexible hours considered, is based in Guernsey and focuses on delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising, implementing and contributing to the client relationship management strategy while managing a portfolio of private clients. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring both relationship management and operational expertise. Job Duties: Develop and execute strategies for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring a responsive and personalised service Build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on client retention and acquisition Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders, proactively identifying opportunities and solutions Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure service excellence and compliance with relevant regulations Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an integrated and seamless client experience Stay abreast of legislative changes, industry developments, and best practices to inform strategy and delivery Contribute to business development initiatives and represent the organisation within the Guernsey market Job Requirements: Degree in business management or similar discipline preferred A strong, established network within Guernsey’s financial services sector Proven experience in managing high-net-worth client relationships within private banking or financial services In-depth understanding of financial products and regulatory environments Relevant professional qualifications in finance or banking Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strategic mindset with excellent organisational and client service capabilities What You’ll Love:Our client is a respected institution offering a dynamic, client-focused working environment with a strong emphasis on relationship building and high service standards.
