Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to join their Private Wealth department in Guernsey on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client entities, delivering a first-class service that meets regulatory standards and maintains excellent client relationships. This is a varied role that involves direct client contact, record maintenance, and oversight of fiduciary responsibilities in accordance with internal procedures. Job Duties: Manage a portfolio of clients autonomously, ensuring efficient administration in line with terms of appointment Maintain accurate legal, statutory and accounting records in accordance with internal procedures Liaise with clients and professional intermediaries regarding their entities and investments Attend client and adviser meetings, both locally and overseas, as required Ensure timely completion of trust control functions, including reviews and register updates Identify, monitor and manage client assets in line with procedural requirements Contribute to the review of financial statements for administered entities Provide assistance to Senior Trust Officers as necessary and support training of direct reports Suggest improvements to procedures where appropriate Adhere to all internal compliance and operational protocols Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested Job Requirements: Previous experience in trust and company administration within an offshore environment Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workloads effectively Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues High level of written and verbal communication Sound technical knowledge of trust and company structures Confident, proactive, and able to use initiative in problem-solving Committed to professional development, including obtaining relevant qualifications Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented with a positive approach to change What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​Our client is a growing international financial services provider offering excellent opportunities for progression, collaboration, and personal development.
