Our client is seeking a Director, Corporate Legal Solutions to lead their Private Clients team in Guernsey on a permanent, full-time basis (36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing fiduciary services for high-value private client structures in accordance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, provide expert technical leadership, and ensure the delivery of exceptional client service. Job Duties: Lead the Guernsey private clients business in alignment with corporate strategy and local goals Contribute to achieving financial targets and overall business growth Identify and develop opportunities with existing and prospective clients, including Group referrals Deliver high-level technical expertise on complex and sensitive cases Ensure consistent, professional, and high-quality service to all clients Manage contentious client relationships and resolve any concerns or fee disputes Stay informed on industry issues and address potential business impacts Make informed and independent decisions on client transactions as a director of client entities Conduct business risk assessments in conjunction with compliance where appropriate Provide leadership and support to senior team members and administrators Drive staff development through training, recruitment, and succession planning Maintain strong internal communication to foster team engagement and integrity Job Requirements: Proven experience in regulated finance or professional services, with recent senior leadership responsibility Strong leadership and team management skills In-depth understanding of relevant markets and business operations Ability to build and maintain networks across internal and external stakeholders Technical expertise in private client structures and associated regulations Professional qualification such as ACCA, CGI, STEP or equivalent Strong IT proficiency Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development What You’ll Love:Our client offers a prestigious and collaborative working environment where strategic thinking and personal accountability are highly valued.
