Our client is seeking a Compliance and Risk Executive to join their Guernsey office on a full-time basis. This role supports the Compliance and Risk Director and wider team in delivering robust compliance services across the organisation and its licensed entities. While previous compliance experience within the fiduciary sector is preferred, this position may suit individuals from a financial services background looking to transition into compliance within a professional and supportive environment. Job Duties: Assist with the execution and ongoing development of the Compliance Monitoring Programme Support the evaluation of control systems and contribute to the enhancement of internal policies, procedures, and controls Maintain compliance registers and assist in compiling regular reports for senior management and the Board Review and record client due diligence documentation to ensure completeness and regulatory alignment Assist with preparing data and documentation for regulatory returns to the GFSC Promote a principled compliance culture by engaging with colleagues across the business Support the delivery of periodic staff training on compliance and financial crime matters Job Requirements: Ideally three or more years’ experience in a compliance role, preferably within a regulated fiduciary firm Strong understanding of the Bailiwick’s regulatory framework Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities Service-focused, adaptable, and proactive in approach Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across all levels Willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment Studying towards or willing to pursue a relevant professional qualification, such as the ICA Diploma Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; familiarity with NAVOne would be an advantage What You’ll Love:Our client offers a collaborative and principled environment where compliance is embedded across the business.
