Our client is seeking a Quality & Risk Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This internal-facing role is key to maintaining the integrity of the firm’s system of quality management in accordance with ISQM1 (International Standard on Quality Management). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating controls around quality and risk, ensuring effective operation and compliance throughout the business. Job Duties: Develop, implement and review risk management policies, processes and procedures Design control mechanisms and treatment plans to manage exposures and vulnerabilities Assess and challenge risk owners on risk assessments and scorings in line with the firm’s risk methodology Promote a robust risk culture and shape effective risk management frameworks across the organisation Provide subject matter expertise to risk owners and advise on the management and mitigation of material risks Support the Quality Risk Management Committee by organising meetings, taking minutes and reporting on ISQM1 compliance Embed a positive culture of confident and informed risk-taking through training and communication Carry out additional duties as required Job Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a risk management department, preferably in a corporate environment Holds or is working towards a relevant professional qualification Experience in risk management, including the design and implementation of controls Skilled in assessing control effectiveness and identifying design weaknesses Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels Commercially aware and resilient, with strong decision-making skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong time management, organisational, and problem-solving abilities Capable of working independently and remaining calm under pressure What You’ll Love:Our client is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional quality and integrity.
