Our client is seeking an Audit Resourcing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This pivotal role will manage and coordinate audit resourcing across Guernsey and Jersey, ensuring the effective deployment of staff and smooth delivery of audit services. The role also includes the leadership of an audit support team, helping to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic workforce planning. Job Duties: Coordinate daily resourcing needs, including job scheduling, leave tracking, and adjustments for absence or training Lead and manage an audit support team in Guernsey, overseeing performance and development Review engagement budgets prior to resource allocation Identify and resolve resource clashes, reallocating staff as needed to maximise utilisation Attend weekly management meetings to report on and resolve resourcing issues Monitor and manage planned versus billed time and unbilled time in collaboration with audit managers Serve as the primary point of contact for resource-related queries and secondee support Maintain accurate data in the firm's resource software and ensure effective use of the platform Liaise with finance on billing issues and timesheet reconciliations Provide input on recruitment needs and actively support the hiring process Ensure timesheet compliance and accurate reporting in line with company policy Deliver training to the team and support continuous improvement in audit operations Drive improved communication between audit management and staff Job Requirements: Relevant professional qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in project or resource management Experience with resourcing tools, particularly Retain, is beneficial Advanced Excel skills including report generation and pivot tables Strong planning, organisation, and time management capabilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflicts under pressure Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities Experience engaging with all levels of an organisation and influencing key stakeholders Comfortable developing new tools and data-driven processes to improve efficiency What You’ll Love:Our client offers a dynamic and collaborative working environment, where operational excellence is prioritised and innovation in resource management is encouraged.
