Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Guernsey-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role sits within the Business Enablement department and is central to supporting business transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying and documenting business requirements, analysing and improving processes, and supporting the delivery of strategic projects. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs and regulatory requirements. Job Duties: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements Conducting workshops, interviews, and discussions to understand current challenges and future needs Translating requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications Mapping and analysing current business processes and designing improved workflows Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements Supporting project managers and product owners with business case development and delivery prioritisation Liaising with internal and external technical teams to ensure effective solution delivery Creating and executing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) Supporting operationalisation of changes including training, documentation, and communication Ensuring compliance with internal change control processes and governance frameworks Maintaining accurate project documentation, process maps, and change logs Keeping up to date with industry trends and recommending innovations to improve delivery and performance Sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative, learning-focused work environment Job Requirements: Proven experience in a business analysis role within financial services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and user story creation Confident in facilitating workshops and preparing business cases and specifications Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Well organised and capable of managing multiple priorities Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance considerations Enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement Willingness to contribute to a culture of inclusion and innovation What You’ll Love:This is a dynamic opportunity to join a growing team focused on delivering meaningful change.
