Our client is urgently seeking a capable and proactive Governance Support Officer to join their team on a part-time, temporary basis for approximately three months. Based within the Governance department, this role will involve working closely with the Senior Governance Officer and Head of Department to support a number of ongoing projects, including preparations for CHKS accreditation. The position requires immediate availability and runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm. Job Duties: Assist with the preparation and documentation required for CHKS accreditation Support the review, drafting and amendment of internal policies and procedures Manage governance-related administrative tasks and assist with general workload management Provide support in drafting reports, minutes, and documentation as required Contribute to ongoing governance projects and assist in tracking deliverables Help ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulatory requirements Coordinate with various departments to gather information and support audit readiness Assist in maintaining documentation for data protection and health and safety procedures Provide high-level administrative support to senior stakeholders where required Job Requirements: Experience in governance, compliance, regulatory, or audit-focused roles Familiarity with policy and procedure management and documentation control Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail Ability to work independently and respond effectively to shifting priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience supporting or coordinating accreditation or regulatory assessments is desirable Knowledge of data protection, health and safety, or general regulatory frameworks is advantageous Background in executive assistance, project management, or legal administration would be beneficial Must be immediately available to start What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful governance work within a collaborative environment.
