Our client is seeking a Temporary Telephonist to join their Telephony department on a part-time, three-month contract. The role requires immediate availability with no notice period. Working hours are fixed from 2pm to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday, totalling 16 hours per week. Training will be provided, but candidates should be able to quickly learn new systems and bring transferable skills such as customer service, switchboard, or reception experience. Job Duties: Operate the telephony system efficiently during designated hours Provide professional and courteous support to callers Manage call routing and switchboard operations Quickly learn and adapt to new telephony systems and procedures Maintain accurate call records and assist with any related administrative tasks Collaborate with the Telephony team to ensure smooth daily operations Job Requirements: Previous customer service, switchboard, or reception experience preferred Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable and able to work the fixed hours without flexibility Immediate availability with no notice period What You’ll Love:Our client offers a supportive working environment where you can develop your skills in telephony and customer service.
