Our client is seeking a methodical and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join their Guernsey office on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Inhouse Legal, Risk and Compliance, this behind-the-scenes role focuses on conducting periodic client file reviews, maintaining accurate and compliant records, and ensuring risk considerations are correctly assessed and recorded. This position is well suited to someone who thrives on precision, enjoys working systematically, and is comfortable collaborating closely with Compliance, Administration, and Accounting teams. Job Duties: Conduct periodic and trigger-based client file reviews in line with the GFSC Handbook and internal policies Carry out client risk assessments, considering beneficial ownership, source of wealth, activities, and geographic factors Review and update client records, escalating inconsistencies or red flags as necessary Analyse client information to ensure it aligns with internal risk appetite and regulatory standards Maintain accurate and complete client documentation on internal systems Prepare concise reports on review outcomes and recommended actions Collaborate with Compliance, Administration, and Accounting teams on day-to-day responsibilities Respond professionally and promptly to internal stakeholder queries Participate in internal discussions to improve compliance review processes Stay up to date with relevant regulatory changes impacting the fiduciary sector, AML, CFT, CPF, and data management Attend CPD training and maintain ongoing professional development Job Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in compliance, trust administration, CDD, or file review within a regulated environment Compliance and/or legal qualification preferred Strong understanding of KYC, CDD, AML, and risk-based compliance frameworks Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex client structures and documentation Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Proficient written and verbal communication skills Competent in Microsoft Office and fiduciary/client relationship systems Professional, discreet, and dependable in handling sensitive client information Collaborative and proactive team player with a consistent approach to meeting deadlines and quality standards What You’ll Love:You will be part of a collaborative and professional environment where your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will be highly valued.
