Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an experienced Client Accountant to join their Guernsey office on a 6-month fixed term contract. This full-time temporary role requires a highly skilled accounting professional with a strong background in trust and company structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting requirements of a designated client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in collaboration with teams based in Guernsey and Mauritius. Job Duties: Manage the accounting needs of a designated portfolio of trust and company clients Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements Liaise with colleagues in Guernsey and Mauritius to ensure timely delivery of financial information Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards Assist with audits and respond to related queries as required Identify process improvements and support their implementation Ensure timely escalation of issues or risks to senior team members Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role within the financial services sector Strong knowledge of trust and company structures Proven experience in preparing financial statements and managing a client portfolio Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills What You’ll Love:Our client is committed to fostering continuous growth and professional development, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
