Our client is seeking a driven and ambitious Associate to join their market-leading Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Guernsey. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile disputes with an international scope. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with experienced litigators on challenging commercial litigation, insolvency, and regulatory matters. Job Duties: Obtain clear instructions from clients and provide legal advice with supporting documentation for review Review and comment on legal documentation from third parties Complete all administrative tasks related to client matters in line with internal procedures Organise and prioritise workload, proactively managing any delays or issues with relevant senior colleagues Support Partners by preparing clear, concise information and solutions Manage discrete legal tasks independently to a high standard within billable timeframes Maintain responsibility for own continuing professional development and CPD compliance Consistently demonstrate and promote the firm’s values Job Requirements: Relevant academic and professional qualifications, preferably in a common law jurisdiction Ideally between two to five years’ PQE, though all levels will be considered based on experience Training or experience in commercial litigation, financial services and regulatory law, and insolvency or restructuring Ability to understand and communicate complex legal issues effectively Demonstrable technical knowledge of common law practice Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong organisational and communication skills Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics Willingness to undertake ongoing legal training and development What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​Our client is a leading offshore law-led professional services firm known for its commitment to excellence, inclusive culture, and global reach.
