Back to ResultsA start-up wholesale bank in Bahrain with a “digital first” approach is looking for a products manager. This new position will lead the definition, design, and development of the bank’s product suite, ensuring delivery of high-quality, client-centric solutions that support the Bank’s core offerings in a highly automated, digital environment: multi-currency transactional banking, cross-border payments, custody services, and digital asset-backed lending.
The job bridges the business, technology, and compliance functions to ensure seamless product execution that aligns with regulatory expectations and commercial strategy. During the build phase, you will own the end-to-end development of product journeys, write business requirements, define functional specifications, and work with Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Commercial teams to ensure readiness for launch. The role is central to ensuring the Bank’s offering is differentiated, scalable, and digital-first from day one.
To be eligible for this role you must have 7 to 10 years experience in product management or digital delivery roles within banking, fintech, or financial services. Proven experience in delivering banking or payments products, preferably in multi-currency or cross-border contexts.
A strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk management considerations in financial product design and, experience working with core banking systems, digital channels, and API-based platforms is essential. The successful applicant will be a structured and analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and documentation skills, together with a hands-on, delivery-focus, being comfortable operating in an agile, build-stage environment. You should have strong collaborative skills across business, tech, and compliance teams, with excellent communication skills.
