Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Manager to join their global accounting team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role can be based in Guernsey, Jersey or the UK. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of accurate financial reporting across a diverse client portfolio while managing and mentoring a team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically skilled accountant who enjoys client interaction and leading high-performing teams. Job Duties: Manage the daily activities of reporting staff, ensuring effective work planning and client deadline management Prepare and review timely and accurate financial statements, including complex accounting work Prepare and review regular client reports (monthly, quarterly and semi-annual) Maintain accurate accounting records in systems such as Viewpoint, Yardi and Quickbooks Understand all transactional details and consult with senior colleagues as needed Ensure client expectations and timelines are met Oversee audit processes for selected clients and ensure timely completion Develop trusted relationships with clients, auditors and third-party providers Collaborate with client administration teams and global colleagues, offering accounting support as required Ensure consistent service levels across the client base and promptly address any issues Comply at all times with internal policies and procedures Operate in alignment with cross-jurisdictional governance services and maintain a unified service approach Job Requirements: Fully qualified accountant Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS with practical application experience Knowledge of US GAAP is desirable Experience using accounting systems such as Viewpoint, Yardi and Quickbooks is desirable Ability to manage and prioritise tasks independently Strong organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​You will be joining a dynamic and inclusive organisation that works with many of the world’s leading financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals.
