Our client is seeking a Head of Client Services to join their organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the Client Service Team, ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional service to clients utilising securities services in the Channel Islands. You will drive performance and continuous improvement across all client touchpoints while ensuring alignment with global standards and internal governance requirements. This role may also involve direct responsibility for strategic client relationships. Job Duties: Lead and manage the day-to-day activities and development of the Client Service Team Ensure all structured client reviews are scheduled and conducted in accordance with agreed frequencies and internal policies Review and oversee the production of client call reports and ensure they are distributed to stakeholders Monitor timely follow-up on action points from client reviews Ensure client service managers are prepared for approval committees and involved in the credit process as required Coordinate the production of monthly client scorecards for strategic and development clients Produce monthly client management information in line with group and local requirements Identify common issues affecting the client base and drive resolution through appropriate channels Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements including KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions, and anti-bribery policies Oversee the management of client issue logs and promote continuous service improvement Collaborate with Client Delivery to manage onboarding, exits, and restructuring of client relationships Work closely with internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers and Operations to improve service delivery Contribute to new business onboarding as part of deal teams Maintain regular team communication and encourage a culture of empowerment and proactive service delivery Represent the Client Development function at local governance forums and act as Deputy for the Head of Client Development at global meetings when needed Manage client accounts directly where assigned, ensuring day-to-day service expectations are met Job Requirements: Extensive experience in client-facing roles within investment operations or the securities services industry Excellent organisational skills with a structured approach and strong attention to detail Effective leadership and communication skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Able to use initiative and escalate issues appropriately Strong presentation and negotiation skills Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client and internal relationships Previous experience in a management role is desirable Language skills would be an advantage University degree in a related discipline or relevant professional qualification is desirable What You’ll Love:This is a high-impact leadership position offering the opportunity to shape and enhance the client service function of a well-established financial institution.
