Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Financial Control, Planning & Analysis to lead the group’s financial control, reporting, planning and analysis. This full-time, permanent role sits within the Finance Leadership team and is responsible for managing a high-performing team, ensuring robust financial reporting and controls, and driving strategic insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach within a multi-jurisdictional, professional services environment. Job Duties: Lead financial control activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards (UK GAAP or IFRS) Oversee the preparation of financial statements and manage external audit processes Maintain and enhance financial controls and cost allocation frameworks, including transfer pricing requirements Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes Produce and review regular cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis Provide actionable insights through detailed financial analysis, including KPIs, variance, and performance reporting Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align financial performance with strategic goals Support business decisions with accurate financial data and scenario modelling Ensure financial regulatory compliance and mitigate financial risk through effective internal controls Ensure new services and jurisdictions are integrated into group reporting frameworks effectively Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting Lead and develop a team of qualified professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Job Requirements: ACA or ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in a senior finance role Experience within a law firm or trust and corporate services provider Proven track record in financial control, reporting, budgeting, and analysis across multiple jurisdictions Strong technical knowledge of financial standards and compliance requirements Experience implementing and maintaining robust internal financial controls Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex financial information Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment What You’ll Love:Our client is a leading offshore law-firm led professional services business, trusted by global financial institutions, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
