Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Compliance Manager to join their Guernsey-based Compliance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a senior-level appointment with regulatory responsibilities under the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) framework for both Trust and Fund services. The successful candidate will take a lead role in developing and maintaining the compliance monitoring programme, while providing expert guidance and assurance across all areas of the business. Job Duties: Act as a named individual under the GFSC’s regulatory framework for both Trust and Fund business Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance monitoring programme Provide timely, clear, and pragmatic regulatory advice to business units, senior management, and governance committees Deliver compliance assurance across a range of fiduciary and fund structures Oversee and review internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments and communicate changes effectively within the organisation Collaborate with other departments to support a strong compliance culture across the business Lead, mentor, and support junior members of the compliance team Job Requirements: A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior compliance role within financial services Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICA Diploma) In-depth knowledge of Guernsey’s fiduciary and fund services sectors Strong understanding of corporate, trust, and fund structures Proven track record in regulatory compliance and risk management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and provide clear guidance to senior stakeholders Detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills What You’ll Love:Our client places people at the heart of their success, offering a collaborative and forward-thinking working environment.
